Slate’s ability to withstand a range of temperatures makes it ideal for a hot cup of coffee or an ice cold beer. Sourced from Brooklyn Slate's family quarry in upstate New York, their Slate Coasters come in four packs as black or red and are backed with cork to protect tabletop surfaces.

Since 2009 Tice and Kristy have been making frequent outings to the family slate quarry to hand select unique pieces of slate, which they then transport to their studio in Brooklyn. Once in the studio, the pieces of slate are chipped, cut, cleaned, and carefully packaged in charming burlap bags ready for your enjoyment.

Dimensions: 4 x 4 inches.

Due to the nature of this product, every coaster is completely unique in cut, shape, color, and overall presentation. (Hand wash with warm, soapy water.)
