Baia means “bay” in Italian. Originally from Piemonte (Northern Italy), Renato and Dario moved to the San Francisco East Bay area and created Baia Pasta. Inspired by the slow food movement at home, they helped introduce and build this movement in California. Baia uses all American heritage wheat and age-old Italian techniques like bronze extruders to create the best dried pasta. These nutshells are their take on traditional orecchiette.
