Tango Chile Sauce is an exciting and original new style of hot chile sauce hand-made from carrots, peppers, herbs, vegetables and spices in Brooklyn NY. It's vibrant flavor is tangy and zesty, flavorful but not overpowering, with a bit of sweetness from the carrots and a delightful kick from the Jamaican hot peppers.
I started the business in 2013 in my closet-sized kitchen in lower Manhattan, with a recipe loosely based on a chilé that my grandma used to make. My friends and family fell in love with the new flavor, and I was forced to take the operation seriously. At the beginning of 2015 we made it onto our first shelves, and by the end of the year we were available in over 60 stores and restaurants around NYC and beyond. 2016 has already been our best year and we've some great things in store for 2017.
