When you fall in love, all bets are off—that’s what happened when founder Limor and her mother discovered the delicacy that is the French macaron in a Paris bakery. They were hooked on the sweets, but they weren’t so hooked on the additives being baked into them. After returning home to Pasadena, they began experimenting with natural ingredients.
