Sigmund's first opens in November 2009 In East Village as a pretzel bakery and coffee shop and becomes a destination for freshly baked pretzels, dips, signature drinks, pastries and short but fierce list of sandwiches and wieners on pretzel bread.
In 2010 they start a wholesale bakery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. As beergardens and beer-centric restaurant and bars kept popping up around town they are challenged to keep up with their demand for a perfect bar snack - fresh, soft salty pretzel.
Now Sigmund's id also known for Beer and their signature NY Reuben on Pretzel bun. Not to mention Beer Cheese Fondue, Sigmund's Burger, Foot Long Kielbasa, Warmed German Potato Salad and Spiked Milk Shake.
Sigmund's still bake their pretzels fresh all day - you'll know it when you're crossing the street.
