Jess Sanchez McClary founded McClary Bros. in 2012, named for her twin 5-year-old sons. It began as a home-based business, selling at local farmers’ markets. Today, McClary Bros. Drinking Vinegars with local Michigan sourced fruit and vegetables are served or sold in over 1000 locations in 26 states.
McClary Bros. Drinking Vinegars is also a founding member of the local nonprofit, FoodLab Detroit and are invested in the local Detroit food scene many ways. FoodLab is a diverse community of food businesses and allies working to make good food a sustainable reality for all Detroiters. Jess is also working with Eastern Market, one of the country’s oldest open-air farmers markets in Detroit. This new project will serve as an accelerator for businesses that have outgrown their existing early-stage production facilities and are taking the step from “cooking” to “manufacturing”.
