What’s our story? We love toffee -- and just about any other kind of caramelized sugar creation we can name.
Hard Crack is a new company based fifteen minutes outside of the city in Port Chester, New York. The company was started by Richard Marmet, co-founder of Best Cellars wine stores. Richard was later joined by Cassie Rothman, a CIA-trained pastry chef who has worked at Bouchon Bakery, Jean Georges and Dovetail.
Our first creation was the toffee chip cookie. Our three flavors are Original, Chocolate Chip and Mocha. We make the toffee ourselves in small batches and then chop it into small chips, which we put in our buttery cookies.
Everything is hand-made, no additives or preservatives, no GMO’s, OU kosher-certified . . . and don’t forget delicious!
