Scott, Tom and Matt would purchase typical gas station jerky protein and a nutrient rich snack but always longed for something more. Tom was constantly annoyed that while fitness programs he followed called for a beef jerky snack the options included only processed meat with chemicals.
During a ski trip to vermont the guys tried some local homemade beef jerky. The natural taste of this jerky overwhelmed the guys and their gas station jerky eating days where over.
In 2010 Scott, Tom and Matt meet to discuss business ideas that they where passionate about and jerky came back to the surface. A playful conversation led to business planning and the creation of FIELD TRIP.
