There are some things in life that you just can’t let go of, no matter where you go. For founder Carmen, those things were the myriad spices from her childhood in Bombay. After a move to the U.S. during her teenage years, she was faced with new and unusual foods that were missing flavors of home. Her kitchen confidence—which she had acquired while growing up in India—spurred her to seek out the individual spices to create blends that reminded her of Bombay. Now, she’s providing internationally-inspired spice blends to those looking for something a little more exotic to add to their cooking—and you’d better believe she’s not letting any salt touch ‘em!
