Back in 2009, Gigi Pascual—a French Culinary Institute graduate—set the Buttermilk food truck loose on the streets of Los Angeles, bringing the city its very first gourmet breakfast truck. What she brought to them was much more than your usual breakfast: red velvet pancakes, breakfast sandwiches on brioche buns, and nighttime chicken and waffles, to name only a few of her delicious offerings. In 2013, Buttermilk Inc. pumped its brakes and turned the corner. Now, they’re bringing their LA-famous breakfast cuisine to homes across the country, and their “Buttermilk Boy,” Klippy (a 10-year-old Seattle native), wants everyone to try it!
