The dynamic duo behind the reclaimed New York farm has seemingly done it all. Shortly after Josh and Brent purchased the historic Beekman 1802 farm in 2007, they lost their jobs within a month of each other. Their plan to use the property as a getaway quickly turned into a plan to create a community of local artisans and farmers to make Beekman 1802 a profitable venture. After incorporating neighboring goats and making soap and cheese from their milk, the Beekman Boys expanded into other arenas of farming, and found themselves on the Cooking Channel as The Fabulous Beekman Boys in 2012. Since then, they’ve won The Amazing Race (no, seriously), and have solidified an entire village of passionate makers that extends past the gates of the farm.
