A beautiful balance of heat and flavor. San Augustin's hot sauce is made with the Datil Pepper, which grows predominantly in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. It can be comparable to the Habanero as far as heat, but it tends to have more of a citrus flavor on the end. It is also compared to the West African Fatalii pepper. The fresh peppers are slow smoked in an old school smoker (non electric) which gives it its unique taste.

The sauce can add a sweet, smoky spice to just about anything, from sandwiches to seafood and even breakfast items.

Comes in a 8 oz bottle.
