When John Stringi and his cousin Ryan Shnirel stood face to face with a backyard garden rife with 25 varieties of pepper plants, they geared up for the road ahead. It could have led anywhere, with so many ways to prepare the produce, but the duo turned to the farmers market in Boulder, CO, and didn’t look back. Taught by a friend to make southern-style hot sauce, John and Ryan were inspired to take a stab at it themselves. After collecting plenty of produce from local vendors, they got to work crafting inspired hot sauces unlike anything out there. By using hearty vegetables as a backdrop for the delicate peppers, each sauce is full-bodied and full of flavor, so you’re always getting more than your average hot sauce.
