The hummingbird is the symbol of grace. For Hummingbird Fine Foods founder Vaughn Dorrian, it’s more than that. Dorrian’s love for experimenting in the kitchen led her to craft unique, healthy dressings without sacrificing flavor. It took a hard push for her to see the value in her product beyond the need for clean, quality bottled condiments. After losing a close friend to a battle with brain cancer, she was inspired by her friend’s grace—and by their shared love for Hummingbird Cake—to finally launch her line of homemade dressings. She wants consumers to know that in using her products they can eat extraordinarily every day.
