Chai Mookie started in a Brooklyn coffee shop some years back. Marty the Mookie creator was working as a barista when a regular asked for caffeine free chai tea. Growing up with Indian cooking and spice influence, Marty mixed up a blend at home and brought it to the coffee shop for his regular to taste. She fell in love with the blend and Chai Mookie was born. With her encouragement, loads of help and support from family and friends Chai Mookie started producing the bags Farm to People offer here. The goal was always to make a fresh, organic, fair trade when possible, chai tea that cut out all of the sugar, flavor enhancers. The spices we use are so rich in taste we think they can stand all on their own.
